Monastir, accident on Highway 131: six injured, air ambulance responds

Three-vehicle accident involving six people, at least one seriously injured, occurred this morning on State Road 131, at kilometer marker 22, in the Monastir area.

At the moment, no details are known about the conditions of the motorists, but 118 also sent the air ambulance to the scene, as well as several ambulances.

Firefighters were also at work clearing the road of destroyed vehicles, and traffic police officers were on hand to manage traffic.

Traffic towards Sassari has suffered severe delays.
