Mistral and temperatures up to 38 degrees: fire alert in Sardinia

In Sardinia temperatures even up to 38 degrees. And, with the mistral wind, the alert for possible fires rises.

For this reason, the Civil Protection has issued an alert bulletin for fires, assigning them an average level , for the whole day on Monday.

As for the weather forecast, the weather will be stable and sunny throughout Sardinia until the beginning of July with temperatures slightly increasing, but not at the levels of recent days, when temperatures even exceeded 40 degrees.

"We will have temperatures of up to 28-33 degrees, with peaks of up to 34-36 degrees in the inland areas of Sardinia - the Decimomannu Air Force weather service says - while tomorrow they will reach 37-38 degrees in the medium and low Campidano due to the mistral wind that will bring the warm air from the Oristano area. Most of the week the NW wind will remain at moderate levels until Thursday, when they will be light. The mistral will strengthen on Saturday, up to strong along the Bocche di Bonifacio».
