Friends and relatives have joined in the search for Davide Calvia, the 38-year-old diver still missing since last Wednesday, after the shipwreck in the Gulf of Asinara .

On Saturday morning, the group of volunteers scoured the coast in the locality of Porchile, in the Sorso area, the place where Giovannino Pinna was found late Thursday evening, still hospitalized in a state of hypothermia but clearly improving, in the Medicine ward Urgency of the civil hospital of Sassari.

On the beach, at the ninth comb of Platamona, there was also Davide Sini, the owner of the six-metre semi-cabin that disappeared from the mooring point of the Porto Torres quay, located near the place where the scooter used by the two was found sub Sassari.

«I scoured the coast far and wide to look for some piece of my boat which I reported stolen on Thursday morning - he explained - and only when I verified that the suit worn by Pinna was the same one I had left in my boat, We'll know more about this story."

The two divers have no vessels registered in their names. One of the obscure points still to be clarified in a story that in many respects appears mysterious.

"In my boat there were three suits, life jackets, smoke bombs and flares, as well as other material that could float and, therefore, it is possible that the sea could somehow return it", adds the yachtsman from Porto Torres. "Furthermore, inside the tank there was a liter and a half of petrol, too little to go far".

The two fishermen on Wednesday evening had launched the SOS communicating the position of the boat that was taking on water, between Stintino and Pozzo San Nicola, near Ezzi Mannu.

During the day, searches continued with the means of the Turritan Harbor Master's Office, the Fire Brigade, the Carabinieri of Porto Torres and Sorso, who scanned the entire coastal area that from Porto Torres continues along Platamona and up to Castelsardo.
