Mid-August to music in the open space in front of the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres. Tomorrow at 9.30 pm for the XVIII edition of the "Musica & Natura" event, the concert entitled "Italia Folksongs", like the new recording work signed by the bandoneonist Daniele di Bonaventura and his historic Band'Union, together with the special guest, the singer Ilaria Pilar Patassini.
A musical journey into the true and deep sounds of Italy, through melodies and dialects reworked with jazz and folk music that enhance its soul. In addition to the Band'Union, formed by Marcello Peghin on 10-string guitar, Felice del Gaudio on double bass and Alfredo Laviano on percussion, the artist from the Marche region Di Bonaventura embellishes the musical formation with the presence of the singer Pilar Patassini, an original voice for a a concert that is cultured and popular at the same time, proposing well-known and lesser-known compositions but capable of expressing a communicative and inner interpretative capacity.
Italia Folksongs is a testimonial record of timeless Italian music, of those melodies with a wealth of regional diversity that make the country a unique land tongue in the world and therefore highly appreciated. Ten songs that tell the roots of Italy and its precious and multiple traditions in a modern key. The musical journey of "Musica & Natura", organized by the Musicando Insieme association and curated by the artistic director Donatella Parodi, will end on Friday 18 August with the concert by Saverio Zura Jazz Quartet at the Tenute Li Lioni.
