The schoolchildren of Carbonia excel at the Mediterranean Mathematical Games . For the Sardinia area , two children from the Istituto Comprensivo Deledda Pascoli won the regional title and access to the national finals, but the placings of two other children were excellent.

The gold medal was won by Caterina Soddu , third grade, and Tommaso Fadda, sixth grade . The silver was won by Riccardo Salis and the bronze medal by Elisa Cocco. A great little exploit thanks to the teachers Stefania Pinna and Delia Spanò (project coordinator).

All the participating students were awarded during a ceremony directed by the principal of the institute Francesco Tribuna and in which the Municipality took part. However, the doors of the national finals which will be held in May in Palermo are opening for two schoolchildren.
