Arrested in Sassari on charges of aggravated menacing and drug dealing. State police officers and the Flying Squad intervened after a tip-off from the police station.

The police went to Corso Pascoli and Via Pirandello where a 56-year-old man was threatening a motorist with a knife. The officers stopped him and later found 14 packages of cocaine and cash during the search.

The searches, which were extended to his home, yielded additional doses of cocaine and hashish. The man is under house arrest.
