Beniamino Garau wins the ballot and becomes the new mayor of Capoterra.
In the scrutiny of the 21 sections, Garau (supported by Psd'Az, Lega, Sardegna 20Venti and two civic lists close to the center-right) obtained 4,740 votes (50.95%) against Beniamino Piga's 4,563 (49.05%) (at the head of six center-left civic lists). 177, therefore, the difference votes.
