Maurizio Frigau, a 37-year-old from Sinnai who died trapped in the burning car
It went off the road along provincial road 20 which leads from the Sardinian Orientale to Solanas: the vehicle overturned in a ditch and caught fire
His name was Maurizio Frigau, he was from Sinnai and he was 37 years old .
Bricklayer and father of two small children , the tragic news reached Sinnai like a bolt from the blue, where Frigau was well known and respected.
The police are working to ascertain what happened, but there shouldn't be much doubt: the 37-year-old would have gone off the road with his Panda which overturned in the ditch and caught fire . Frigau was trapped in the car and had no escape . His body was charred. No other vehicles were involved.
118 was on site and was unable to do anything to help the motorist. The investigations, coordinated by Captain Ignazio Cabras of the Quartu company, are carried out by the carabinieri of the mobile radio operations unit of the Quartu Company, Maracalagonis and Sinnai .
