Marghine towards the future, with the enhancement of environmental and cultural heritage, the strengthening of essential services and the strengthening of territorial governance.
It is the development project called "Marghine al Centro", which is worth sixteen million euros, financed by the Region and which will reach the coffers of the ten municipalities thanks to the memorandum of understanding signed yesterday between the ten mayors of Marghine and the Region .
A day defined by all as historic. The protocol was signed by the regional councilor for programming, Giuseppe Meloni (also present was the councilor for general affairs, Mariaelena Motzo), then by all ten mayors of Marghine, in the large hall of the Cultural Services Center .
"This is the final part of the project, with the additional act - says the president of the Union of Municipalities, Franco Scanu - a path that is not simple, with the mayors of the territory as protagonists. However, it means oxygen for the Marghine, with important interventions, to give answers to the citizens . In this juncture the territory has presented itself united and compact, to play an important role, which could mean a real springboard for our economy". "Today - says councilor Giuseppe Meloni - is an important stage, because it concludes the co-design process of the Marghine al Centro project, built together with the Municipalities and local communities. A shared work that starts from the real needs of the territory and aims to enhance the potential. Now we need to respect the deadlines and have the projects of each individual municipality immediately available".
We will now proceed with the strategic lines of development, through interventions aimed at the redevelopment and enhancement of the naturalistic and cultural resources of the territory , in compliance with the issues of accessibility and environmental sustainability, therefore the completion and implementation of interventions for the redevelopment, compliance and adaptation of sports facilities .
The municipalities of Marghine have worked hard to make this project happen, to make the territory attractive and inclusive.
