Carabinieri from the Tempio Pausania Mobile Radio Unit arrested a young man caught stealing electronic equipment and several bottles of wine from a hotel on the coast of Santa Teresa Gallura.

According to the military's reconstruction, the young man – already known to law enforcement – entered the building taking advantage of a quiet moment in the early hours of the morning.

His suspicious behavior, however, did not go unnoticed by the hotel staff, who immediately alerted 112, reporting abnormal movements near the service areas.

A Carabinieri patrol quickly arrived on the scene, surprising the young man as he attempted to escape with a television and several bottles of fine wine, which had just been stolen from the facility's storage rooms. He was apprehended and taken to the police station, where he was arrested on charges of aggravated theft.

The arrest was subsequently validated by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Tempio Pausania Court, who ordered the individual to sign in at the Carabinieri station as a precautionary measure.
