Investigations are underway in Tempio to identify the perpetrator of a robbery committed late yesterday afternoon at a commercial warehouse, not far from the town center of the Gallura town.
A man armed with a gun, his face covered with a balaclava, waited for the owner of the property to arrive and then took action. The victim was threatened and forced to hand over all the money he was carrying and several phones .
The robber acted alone, at least inside the warehouse. However, it's possible that another person was waiting for the bandit outside the building. The victim (a business owner and LPG dealer) immediately reported the robbery to the Carabinieri.
Carabinieri personnel immediately began searching for the bandit, who is said to be a short, stocky man wearing dark-colored clothing. The victim was interviewed by the Carabinieri; it's likely that the bandit had checked with the warehouse owner before the break-in.
The Carabinieri personnel are checking the presence of video surveillance systems in the area.
