A 6 and a half year sentence for mistreatment and kidnapping of a 55 year old, originally from Sassari but resident in Macomer . This sentence closes the dramatic story of a young woman who for four years was kept segregated at home and mistreated by her partner in a farmhouse on the outskirts of Macomer.

The verdict, pronounced by the judge of the Oristano court Silvia Palmas, arrived in the early afternoon of today: two years more than the request of the prosecutor Daniela Caddeo , plus compensation for damages and a provisional amount of 3 thousand euros for the victim (civil party with the lawyer Luciano Rubattu),

The story emerged after some reports to the social services of Macomer, then there was the raid by the police who heard the woman's moans from outside the house on the farm . She could not go out or open the door because her partner (defended by Federica Atzeni) had locked her inside by barring the doors and windows . She didn't even have the keys; a condition of subjection and pain that went on for years between threats (even of death, complete with a knife pointed to the throat) and beatings, humiliations and insults . A life of hell until the decisive intervention of the social services and the police who restored the woman's freedom, who was then entrusted to a protected facility.
