Macomer, “United and ProAbili”: the athlete Arturo Mariani at the Cultural Services Center

Accessibility, inclusion and integration. Municipalities, citizens and cultural associations in the area united in a project to raise awareness of the importance of breaking down barriers, especially mental and cultural ones, to make the world a place accessible to all, without limits. “United and ProAbili. Let's build a ProAbile society together" is the two-day event that will be held on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th December starting from 7pm at the Centro Servizi Culturali in viale Gramsci in Macomer in the company of the international athlete Arturo Mariani, founder and captain of the ASD Roma Calcio Amputati .

Furthermore, on both days, the athlete, now a mental coach and motivational speaker, will meet students from the city's schools.

Arturo Mariani, born in 1993, began playing football at an international professional level in 2012, with the Italian National Amputee Football Team, playing in a World Cup, a European Championship and several international tournaments. Today he is the founder and Captain of ASD Roma Calcio Amputati, the capital's first team in Amputee football: a national club associated with AS Roma, in favor of integration and sport.
He is a recognized motivator, influencer and writer: in his “Born with One Leg” he tells how he transformed his life into a masterpiece. Today he is followed by more than 450 thousand people on his social channels, where every day he shares thoughts, useful reflections and valuable content.

The event, conceived and strongly supported by a spontaneous group of citizens, is organized by the Cultural Services Centre, Youth Cultural Center City of Macomer, the Sandali Onlus Association, Basket Macomer 2.0 with the contribution of the Cooperativa Progetto H, Casa Castori and the Sponsored by the Municipality of Macomer.
