Three thousand marijuana plants hidden in the dense vegetation, in the countryside of Macomer.
The Carabinieri of Silanus discovered them in tandem with the soldiers of the Carabinieri Squadron Hunters of Sardinia.
The suspicious movements of a 55-year-old man , who was then surprised inside the “enchanted garden”, intent on taking care of the plants, brought the men of the Arma towards the plantation.
Investigators also recovered another 15 kg of marijuana already dried and therefore ready to be placed on the drug market.
The 55-year-old was thus put in handcuffs and tried for direct.
The judge of the Court of Oristano then validated the arrest and confirmed the precautionary measure in prison.
"This operation - explains a note from the Arma - like others managed in the wider area of the Marghine show that the drug business is constantly increasing. Huge seizures and operations carried out by the Carabinieri in the countryside and in the small towns that for years they have proved to be focal points of these illegal activities ".
