The main entrance road, the former Carlo Felice, now belonging to the Province of Nuoro, which connects Macomer to the industrial area of Tossilo and to the 131 for Cagliari, has been closed for works for a week and for now there are no immediate solutions to the problem. problem.

A situation that is becoming dramatic, given the inconvenience it is creating, so much so that some companies operating in Tossilo are asking for damages. A landslide, a week ago, had blocked the passage. The Province intervened immediately, closing those five kilometers to traffic and clearing the road of boulders and dirt. However, after an inspection, the firefighters ordered the road to be closed again for safety reasons.

The Province, which has planned a stopgap intervention with the installation of the so-called concrete New Jerseys, has not yet taken steps to reopen the road or even start the works to create the alternate one-way street in that stretch. "It won't be a definitive intervention - says Aldo Demontis, councilor for public works - but the alternating one-way at least allows the road to be reopened, which is essential for connections."

It is clear that positioning the New Jerseys will still take a few days, so the road will continue to remain closed perhaps until next week. For the definitive arrangement, however, the times are longer, because it is necessary to recover the necessary resources, which the Province does not have at its disposal.
