The ASL initiative, in collaboration with the municipal administration, is one that will soon become an active health facility, the first in the regional health panorama. It will be open tomorrow morning and will operate 24 hours a day, in the city center (viale Piemonte), the Point of Continuity of Care.

Meanwhile, starting tomorrow, the medical emergency service will no longer be active in the Nuraghe Ruggiu polyclinic, but will operate in the centre of the town , therefore accessible to all, to which will be added the service of the extraordinary community territorial clinics (Ascot).

Satisfaction is expressed by the Nuoro management of the ASL and that of the Macomer health district, but above all by the municipal administration. "A very important result for our town", comments Mayor Riccardo Uda, "which will only be the first of further important changes on which we are working. Special thanks go to the ASL of Nuoro who, with their commitment and willingness to collaborate with the Municipality, have made it possible to achieve this goal. With the same spirit of collaboration we are working for the establishment of the Community House in the health facility in the locality of Nuraghe Ruggiu , which will host all the general practitioners and will allow the territorial health system to make a leap in quality in providing services in step with the needs of users".
