The theme, "Prevention improves life", did not leave high school and middle school students indifferent. Numerous people came, filling the auditorium of the "G. Gallilei" high school to capacity, to attend as protagonists the meeting organized by the Rotary Club of Macomer, as part of the projects aimed at the new generations of Rotary International. The theme, focused on the HPV-Papilloma Virus infection and gynecological prevention, intrigued and interested the students, who asked dozens of questions to the doctors present at the event, such as Antonio Onorato Succu, head of gynecology and obstetrics at the San Francesco di Nuoro, and the surgeon Gabriele Andria.

All the school heads present at the initiative applauded the interest shown by the students in this initiative. «The participation was massive - says the president of the Rotary Club, Silvana Bellai - there were many interesting questions, in particular whether the infection vaccine covers all types of cancer. A working group has also been set up, which will continue to raise awareness."

Sergio Masia, director of the "Giannino Caria" institute, adds: «We hope that the kids talk about it in their families». Fabiana Cugusi, Councilor for Culture: «These are very useful training meetings, because the health aspect is involved. We also need to organize others." In addition to the teachers, class representatives of the children's parents participated in the event.
