Gigi Ledda, a prominent entrepreneur and president of the Nuoro Industrialists' Association in the 1990s, died this morning in Macomer . He was 89. He leaves behind his wife, Bruna Conti, and five children, including Rossana Ledda, currently a city councilor in the opposition and a former deputy mayor in the government led by Antonio Succu.

His health had been deteriorating for some time, but not so serious as to warrant his death, which occurred this morning at the Macomer nursing home.
