Macomer, foiled escape from the migrant center

The alarm went off in the middle of the night . The police have thwarted an attempted escape at the Macomer detention center for repatriation .

The alarm that alerts the security went off in the middle of the night, when most of the guests were sleeping. It would therefore appear to be a solitary escape attempt, carried out by a young North African .

The young man would have managed to ride the internal concrete fence, several meters high and then also the external metal fence, until he reached the outside, where, however, the security personnel were waiting for him, with the police, who they immediately caught him and brought him back inside again, this time to his cell .

An inspection was carried out along the fences, deemed safe, with a sophisticated video surveillance system, to understand how the escape was possible, evading armed surveillance and also technology.

It was a sleepless night for everyone in the CPR.

We want to understand if the young man had accomplices, even if there would have been no episodes to try to distract the vigilance . Nothing transpires even from the police station, which coordinates the always impeccable surveillance.

It is no coincidence that the Cpr of Macomer is considered one of the safest structures in Italy and where guests are treated with humanity.
