No graduation award for Giorgia Cadeddu because she obtained her third year degree, in Cultural Heritage Sciences, early . Ersu confirms this with a press release.

"Unfortunately, since she is not enrolled in her final year - the note states - the student does not meet the criteria required to obtain the degree award. However, she has regularly received the entire scholarship due in the year of graduation. The position was assessed in accordance with art. 6 of the competition announcement, which establishes the recognition of an integration of the scholarship (so-called "degree award") only to students enrolled in the final year of the course. With regard to the situation reported, it should be noted that the student has benefited from a scholarship in money and for canteen services for the academic year 2023/2024 ".

Giorgia Cadeddu, promptly replied: «I received the scholarship only for the first two years, not the third because I had graduated early. And I never benefited from the canteen service ».

The position of the student from Macomer was assessed during a meeting, which took place this morning at the Ersu headquarters in Sassari, between the president Daniele Maoddi, the director of the administrative service, Antonfranco Temussi and the student, Giorgia Careddu. After the meeting, Ersu, with a statement, clarified: «Ersu, for its part, confirms its mission of supporting needy and deserving students and renews, also with a view to the future, its commitment to guaranteeing services and contributions in compliance with the principles of fairness, transparency and legality and always putting the needs of students at the center». However, bitterness remains for the young student from Macomer, with the degree award taken away due to a bureaucratic quibble.
