West Nile virus: Second victim in San Gavino

The 84-year-old former nurse who contracted West Nile virus died at the San Gavino hospital, where he was being treated. He is the second victim in the town, where a woman also died from West Nile virus in recent days.

Meanwhile, the local health authority (ASL) and the province are taking action, launching a mosquito control plan to prevent the spread of the virus and prevent new cases.
