In Macomer, a seriously injured person was transported by helicopter to the hospital in Sassari, following a road accident that involved two cars and blocked traffic on state road 131 early Saturday morning.
The latest collision occurred at the exit from Macomer and Bosa, in the Monte Muradu area , already the scene of numerous accidents, due to the at-grade intersection, known as the “crossroads of death” .
A car, exiting the provincial ex Carlo Felice, was entering the 131, in the direction of Sassari, when it was literally hit by another car. The impact was inevitable.
The drivers involved were immediately assisted by 118 ambulances . One of the injured, as mentioned, was urgently transported by helicopter to the hospital in Sassari.
The traffic police, who intervened on the scene, are verifying the dynamics of the accident. Traffic was blocked for about an hour in the direction of Cagliari.
