Macomer, 51-year-old arrested for abusing his mother

He allegedly repeatedly targeted his mother, subjecting her to beatings, threats, and constant aggression. This is what a 51-year-old man was accused of, arrested by the Carabinieri of the Macomer Company for domestic abuse and aggravated damage.
The latest incident prompted the victim to seek help: after fleeing the home and finding refuge with an acquaintance, the woman contacted the Carabinieri. Officers from the Silanus station responded immediately and, upon reaching the home, found the suspect clearly intoxicated. Inside the apartment, several damaged furnishings were found, a sign of the man's fury.
The Carabinieri requested the intervention of emergency medical personnel . Upon seeing the paramedics, the 51-year-old attempted to attack one of them, necessitating the forceful intervention of the officers, who managed to subdue him and prevent further harm. The man was arrested in the act. His mother was assisted and escorted to a safe place, while the judicial authorities were informed of the entire incident.
