In Luras you can get married under the famous wild olive tree and at the Ladas dolmen. During the session of the municipal council, the regulation for the celebration of marriages and civil unions was approved.

"Thanks to the approval of this new regulation, it will finally be possible to get married in many wonderful places in our Municipality - explains the mayor of Luras Mauro Azzena - immersed in the nature of our park of millenary olive trees, in the granite and spectacular landscape of the Ladas dolmen , in the characteristic and elegant environments of the Depperu and Tamponi-Perantoni palaces. We are firmly convinced that this decision will have positive repercussions on the entire ceremonial chain: from hospitality to local traditions, then passing through pastry and floriculture. Not only that: this choice also allows us to enhance, promote and make known our natural, archaeological and architectural wonders using a different key, in a constantly evolving and constantly growing sector».

«We want to give a new impetus to the economic fabric of our country, which today more than ever needs stimuli and resources to be competitive on the tourist market and beyond. On the other hand - continues the mayor - the poetry of living the most beautiful day of one's life at the foot of the longest-lived and most majestic living being in Europe can only be an excellent omen and an excellent start to a life together that from the strength and luxuriance of this tree it can only draw strength. Thanks dutifully go to the municipal offices, whose contribution was decisive for the drafting of the regulation.
