Lula, the “ghost” car insurance scam: two people reported

Two men originally from Campania, both already known to the police, have been reported because they are believed to be responsible for a scam committed against a woman from Lula.

The latter, last January, had reported to the police that she had been scammed to sign an insurance contract on an online site: she had paid 420 euros via bank transfer, but, after a month, she had never received the agreed documentation.

The military of the Lula station, thanks to computer technology, reconstructed the movements of the money, finally managing to track down the two alleged scammers.

Both were thus identified and reported at liberty to the Judicial Authority.
