Lu Carrasciali has arrived, the gathering of the musical bands and the first joke contest “A Scaccaddhi”, hosted by Gianluca D'Amico, are the highlights of the Tempio Carnival which opens its doors this weekend.

King Giorgio's avant-garde has already taken possession of the Gallura town, with papier-mâché characters also emerging from the balconies of the houses and Mannena positioned in front of the Town Hall. The installations are curated by Giorgio Donini and Silvia Borghetto.

The protagonists of the musical bands gathering are about ten groups from Sardinia, Corsica and the Peninsula.

Tomorrow is scheduled for the Traveling Concert (3 pm) which will culminate with a collective performance on the stage in Piazza XXV Aprile. The presenter will be the artistic director Cecilia Fenu, while the musical direction will be entrusted to Francesco Fara. The photographic exhibition “Carnevale in Scena: a photographic story between emotion, color and tradition” was inaugurated.

Lu Carrasciali timpiesu has also linked his name to the initiatives of the event "New perspectives of national and international exchange between the wine roads", organized by the Association of DOCG wine roads, led by Gavino Sanna, with events in Monti, Berchidda and Loiri Porto San Paolo
