The speed limit set at 30 kilometres per hour becomes a road safety implementation on Viale Don Sturzo, in Tempio Pausania, where the road surface renewal works have just been completed .

A clear choice, that of the municipal administration, to reduce risks, protect pedestrians and make traffic more orderly .

Mayor Gianni Addis announced the completion of the project, carried out by the Department of Public Works and Roads, led by Francesco Quargnenti, in collaboration with the municipal Technical Department.

The project, worth a total of 320 thousand euros, says the mayor, "has resolved long-standing problems on one of the city's main arteries."

The work had been necessarily postponed to allow for the connection of the new water mains by Abbanoa SpA, and then the installation of the fiber optic cable by FiberCop. Only after these infrastructure works were completed could the contracted company begin the final road surface repair.

The construction site isn't completely closed, however. In about two weeks, once the asphalt has settled properly, the road markings will be laid and the raised pedestrian crossings installed.

Mayor Addis also states that Via Togliatti, which is undergoing similar work, "a 30 km/h speed limit has been introduced, confirming an administrative approach aimed at safer and more sustainable traffic."
