Loses his balance and falls from the roof: worker injured in Oristano

A 54-year-old worker from Oristano is hospitalized in Brotzu after being the victim of an accident at work.

He was busy carrying out some maintenance work on the roof of the shed on the grounds of the former Etfas in San Quirico when he presumably lost his balance and fell several meters to the ground.

The 54-year-old was rescued by work colleagues who immediately requested the intervention of the 118. When the doctors arrived in the agricultural village, given the traumas suffered and the conditions, they preferred to alert the Areus air ambulance which transferred the worker at Brotzu in Cagliari.

The man suffered a head injury and other wounds on his side, further tests are needed even if his life does not appear to be in danger.

The agents of the State Police and the staff of the Spresal also intervened in the San Quirico farm, who will now have to carry out the necessary checks to ascertain compliance with the rules on safety at work or any violations.
