A baby girl in very serious condition , who needed to be hospitalized urgently at the Gaslini hospital in Genoa, was transported during the night from Alghero to the Ligurian capital with a life-saving flight operated with an Air Force Falcon 50 .

The little patient - reports the Air Force - accompanied by her father, traveled inside a thermal cradle and was constantly monitored during the flight by a medical team .

Requested by the Prefecture of Sassari and coordinated by the Situation Room of the Top Command of the Air Squad, active 24 hours a day and which also manages this type of urgent medical transport, the flight was immediately activated using a Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of Ciampino .

After the boarding operations of the little patient and the passengers, the aircraft took off towards the Genoa airport. Here, waiting for him upon arrival, an ambulance which, once the child was taken on board, then immediately headed towards the Gaslini Hospital where the child was hospitalized .
