Life-saving flight from Cagliari to Rome: the patient is a one-day-old baby

A life-saving flight, with an Air Force Falcon 900EX, transported a little patient of just one day from Cagliari to Rome.

The emergency medical transport allowed the little girl to reach the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome embarked - inside a thermal cot - on the aircraft belonging to the 31st Wing, accompanied by her father and a medical team who treated her assistance during the flight.

This was announced by the Air Force.

The request for transport from the "Duilio Casula" Hospital - University Hospital of Cagliari to the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome, as required by the emergency procedures, was received from the Prefecture of Cagliari.
