Emergency medical transport from Alghero to Turin for a 42 day old baby girl in imminent danger of life .

The aircraft, a Falcon 900 of the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force, landed at Turin-Caselle airport. The child, previously hospitalized at the University Hospital of Sassari, needed specific care. Immediate intervention was requested by the Public Prosecutor of Sassari.

The Falcon 900 took off from Ciampino around 1.15 pm for Alghero airport, where it landed around 2.00 pm . The newborn was loaded inside a thermal cradle , accompanied by her mother, a doctor and a nurse. Leaving from Alghero, the plane landed in Turin around 3.30 pm.
