Emergency medical transport from Alghero to Genoa for a 15 day old baby girl. The mission was carried out with a Falcon 50 aircraft of the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force.

The aircraft, on the orders of the Top Situation Room of the Air Force Air Squad Command, took off from Alghero airport after embarking the little patient, in a thermal cradle, and a medical team for in-flight healthcare.

The transport had been requested by the Prefecture of Sassari , activated by the University Hospital of Sassari due to the critical health conditions of the newborn.

After the military aircraft landed at Ciampino airport, around 1.15 pm, the girl was directly transferred by ambulance to the Gaslini Pediatric Hospital in Genoa .
