He struggled (and not a little) to access the courtyard where the technical staff of the ASL Ogliastra was waiting for him to unload the new portable CT. So much so that the driver of the truck, which arrived in Lanusei today, had to stop at the level crossing to avoid causing damage to the vehicle with large overall dimensions.

Near Nostra Signora della Mercede, the articulated lorry that was supposed to unload the sophisticated instrument moved like an elephant in a china shop, so much so that firefighter teams and workers from a company had to intervene on site to free the vehicle from the trap along the road that leads to the Emergency Room and thus facilitate transit. Along the route, traffic slowed down for long periods and municipal police officers also had to intervene.

At the end of a long and exhausting maneuver, the truck managed to cross the entrance threshold so as to be able to complete the operation and facilitate the unloading of the portable CT scanner, an effective tool, among other aspects, in the treatment of neurosurgical pathologies. The possibilities provided by the presence of a CT scanner in the operating room are many.
