Kindergartens, a new software for enrollments in Cagliari
About 700 children are targeted for the serviceThe new software application dedicated to nursery enrollments will be operational in the coming weeks in Cagliari .
Co-written by the Department of Public Education in collaboration with the Department of Technological Services, the project is fully part of the path undertaken by the municipal administration of Cagliari for the digitization of offices.
«This technological innovation - explained the councilor Marina Adamo at the presentation in the Town Hall - represents a further step forward in the reorganization of the nursery school service. The use of web technologies allows us to simplify and improve access to a service that is strategic for families». As well as the resolution n. 51/2023 unanimously approved by the City Council for the modification and updating of the Kindergarten Regulations, now more responsive to the new and changed needs of about 700 girls and boys in the 3 months / 3 years age group, and of their parents receiving the service.
«The Municipality of Cagliari has launched a process of digital innovation in accordance with the provisions of European programs such as the PON and the PNRR, where the provision of services aimed at overcoming critical issues and satisfying citizens' needs is increasingly important, through streamlined procedures, usable and simplified», remarked the commissioner Alessandro Guarracino . «New technologies are a fundamental support for these objectives».
The councilors Giorgio Cugusi and Raffaele Onnis, respectively president of the Public Education Commission and president of the Technological Innovation Commission, are of the same opinion, who spoke of a "digital revolution" that cannot be postponed by now and capable of making the Municipality "closer to the citizens and citizens to the Municipality". .
A specific video-tutorial to support the new method of submitting registrations will offer further help to families .
