Punches and kicks were reported on the Grimaldi ship during its crossing from Cagliari to Palermo. A businessman and his associate, both from Ozieri, were hospitalized. Law enforcement will investigate the incident, and there are two versions of the events. What is certain, based on the medical reports, is that Luca Saba, a 38-year-old advertising agency owner, suffered injuries to his finger and knees, requiring three days of treatment. His companion, Giuseppe Uleri, suffered bruises to his head and neck, and received a five-day prognosis.
The story
They boarded the plane at Cagliari airport on Saturday at 5 p.m. The argument arose when the flight attendants asked them to turn down the music: "We did, but it wasn't enough," Saba said, "so they told us to move to another area, and we refused."
The two then presented themselves before the purser, who allegedly confiscated the phones. "When we expressed our desire to report the staff's misconduct," the entrepreneur recounts, "we were suddenly attacked with kicks and punches. We had to face an assault by four staff members, and one of them bit my finger, causing an injury."
The company
The Grimaldi company's version differs, stating that the two, described as being in an altered state, "repeatedly asked to lower the volume, continued to disturb those in the lobby." They then allegedly verbally and physically attacked the purser, who, "grabbed on the arm, suffered bruises that will heal in five days, hence the defensive reaction of our staff."
