Four people, aged between 51 and 30, are on trial in Tempio for an alleged punitive expedition against a man (43 years old) held responsible for a theft of jewels in an apartment in the Gallura town .

The crimes charged are kidnapping, private violence, threats and injuries . According to the indictment, the four men, after the theft in the house of a family member, reach the home of the alleged thief and forcefully load him into a car . Then the small car, we read in the indictment, reaches an isolated location in Limbara, where the victim is subjected to a summary "trial" .

The alleged thief was allegedly beaten and threatened: " If you don't return the gold we'll gouge out your eyes ." After the punitive expedition, the man accused of the theft ended up in hospital, where he was treated for trauma and injuries all over his body. According to the prosecutor, several gun shots were also fired to scare the victim . The people reported, assisted by the lawyer Brunilda Sanna Mucaj, deny all the accusations. The alleged victim did not appear as a civil party.
