The main street transformed into a battlefield. Signs torn down, signs mutilated, the fury of vandals destroyed everything in the urban center of Ittiri. The raid in the middle of the night, between Friday and Saturday, in the heart of the city. A group of thugs went wild along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, targeting street furniture, including those placed by commercial businesses. A concrete bench with a wooden seat was devastated by the wicked fun of the hooligans.

A railing and a signpost were torn off. The metal and concrete waste bins, anchored to the ground, were also torn off, public and private furniture was damaged, umbrellas and chairs were thrown to the ground. The signs are evident along the main road. Where it was not possible to dismantle the bins, the vandals knocked them down and threw them to the ground.

An incursion against the community without a reason. Almost a challenge to the institutions. The local police are working to view the images from the video surveillance cameras, installed near the town hall. "The municipal administration condemns the acts of vandalism that affected the main street of the town", is the comment of the mayor Antonio Sau, "and communicates that the police are viewing all the video surveillance footage to trace the perpetrators and proceed according to the actions provided by law".
