It looks like an expanse of cream , maybe a snowy beach, but it's anything but. The spectacular effect of the strong wind at the Conti Vecchi Saline , in the Santa Gilla lagoon in Cagliari, was immortalized in a video by Andrea Piras.

The waves crash on the coast and release the salt . Retreating, here is a white carpet, with salt flakes gliding in mid-air, dragged by the current.

A very suggestive effect, admirable on windy days like those that are characterizing the current week.
