Bad discovery for a 41-year-old Romanian worker from Masainas: the man, after paying 584 to insure his two cars on the web thanks to an "essential" offer received online, unfortunately realized that that money was actually went to professional scammers.

The 41-year-old then turned to the carabinieri of Giba, telling how the generous and anonymous interlocutors, pretending to be insurers, had made the amount paid in two different tranches as payment of the alleged car policies, subsequently never activated.

The carabinieri then recovered, with the collaboration of the bank from which the transfers had started and from the indications provided by the telephone companies involved in the informal contacts that took place during the preparation of the scam, that the money had flowed into the accounts of two Neapolitans of 58 and 45 respectively years, the first of Portici and the second of Torre Annunziata, both unemployed and with specific precedents.

The local carabinieri who knew them well also intervened in the reconstruction of the responsibilities. The two were referred in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari for aggravated fraud and continued in competition.
