In front of the sacred well of Santa Cristina, the protesters chant Procurad'e Moderare.

The flash mob in front of one of the most iconic places in Sardinia ended with a sort of declaration of war on renewables.

«Between on shore and off shore, Sardinia has plans for another five thousand wind turbines», says Davide Fadda, spokesperson for the Permanent Garrison of the Sardinian People, which initiated the event.

"If they all arrived at the same time, Sardinia would be invaded by about four hundred ships. But the issue is: those ships must not leave. This is why the mobilization must move to the next step: no more balloons and flash mobs. We must overcome the divisions created by the small advantages that the revolt can give to independence movements that would still remain at zero point something. This is a conflict that must see us united."

The next step, from July 15 to 18, will be a march on Barumini.
