Isolated in the countryside due to heavy rains, man saved in Laerru

An isolated person in grave danger due to the heavy rains rescued yesterday evening in Laerru, in the Su Saspru locality, by the Fire Brigade.

An operational team from the Tempio detachment intervened at the request of the Carabinieri of Valledoria.

The heavy rains caused the rivers in the area to overflow, effectively isolating the victim and seriously endangering his safety.

With river SAF techniques, the rescuers created the so-called "life line" allowing the unfortunate person to be brought to safety. The carabinieri were also present at the scene.
