A 44-year-old was arrested in Cagliari by the agents of the State Police for aggravated damage, resistance and threats to a public official.
The man, a foreigner, was stopped yesterday by the agents of the Flying Squad at the entrance to the train station for a heated argument against his partner .
During the control and identification phases, the man, upon requesting the documents, began to show signs of impatience and to inveigh against the agents without any reason, addressing them with offensive words.
As the attitude became more and more violent, the policemen were forced to put the foreigner in safety inside the service car and take him to the police station for the follow-up of the investigations. However, the 44-year-old did not calm down and even threatened the agents and damaged the car.
The man, already burdened by police precedents for crimes of the same nature, was then arrested for damage to a state property, threats and resistance to a public official, and was also denounced for refusing to provide his personal details .
The validation hearing for direttissima is scheduled for today.
