The consequences of a hunting accident that occurred last Sunday in the Arzachena countryside are serious. A 70-year-old man was struck in the leg by a bullet while he was in an area where a wild boar hunt was underway. Witnesses of the accident provided first aid, and the man was then handed over to doctors at the Giovanni Paolo II Emergency Room. Specialists at Olbia Hospital diagnosed a compound fracture of the femur, caused by the bullet. This is an extremely dangerous situation; the victim of the accident is hospitalized in Olbia and his condition is significantly improving. The investigation is being conducted by staff from the Porto Cervo Police Station.
