In Baronia, lower Gallura and Ogliastra the water crisis is becoming increasingly serious and for tomorrow morning the prefect of Nuoro Giancarlo Dionisi has summoned all the mayors of the various centers affected by this emergency.

The restrictions have been in place for some time . In the municipalities served by the Maccheronis reservoir in Torpè, those for agricultural and livestock farms have been in force for months now, where water can practically only be used for animals .

Then the mayors signed ordinances to use water only for hygiene and nutrition . You cannot water vegetable gardens and gardens and wash your car with tap water.

But all this may not be enough given that the tourist season is about to begin and hundreds of thousands of visitors will arrive in the area. The situation is even more serious in Ogliastra where the restrictions have also affected inhabited centers for some time .
