From 12.3 degrees in Villanova Strisaili, in Ogliastra – which remains the coolest location in this torrid summer in Sardinia – to 29.4 in Castiadas, in the Minni Minni area.

This is the range of minimum temperatures recorded on the island by the regional network of Arpas monitoring stations: the data refers to the night just passed, between the 17th and today (18th July).

The largest temperature range was recorded at the Oliena and Dorgali-Filitta stations: the maximum temperature in these areas yesterday afternoon was 45 degrees, among the highest in Sardinia. After dark, the temperature dropped to 17 degrees. A cool night was also recorded in Gavoi, which recorded 13 degrees.

The temperature was also chilly in Orani, which, thanks to the sun, was among the hottest places in the past week: a low of 17.9 degrees Celsius. The benefits of the northerly wind were also felt in the Oristano area: in Palmas Arborea, the minimum temperature was 17.6 degrees Celsius.

However, most of the island never dropped below 20 degrees: even Fonni never saw a temperature lower than 28.3 degrees overnight.
