Detention for the purpose of drug dealing. This is the accusation that a 26-year-old from Iglesias resident in Vallermosa will have to answer for, found by the police in possession of over half a kilo of drugs.

The young man was stopped for a check by a military patrol from Villamassargia, while he was on board a Fiat Panda, together with another person.

The nervousness of the two triggered more in-depth investigations and so the men of the force ascertained that both were already known to the judicial authorities. Then the police carried out a search of the car and a bag containing over half a kilo of marijuana and 98 grams of hashish emerged.

A precision scale and material for packaging the doses were subsequently found in the 26-year-old's home.

For this reason the young man was placed under house arrest, and was then summoned to court for the direct trial, at the end of which the judge ordered the validation of the arrest and the postponement of the trial for the request for defense terms.
