In Stintino the re-enactment of the "Postal Journey"
The first trip in 1909: to remember it, the transport of the package is simulated every year

In 1909 the first commercial connection by sea from Stintino to Porto Torres left. A race that took place with a postal which allowed the tourist village to reach the Turritan city to guarantee the supply of primary goods.
Since then, the transport of parcel post from one urban center to another has been simulated every year. On the occasion of the XXVIII historical re-enactment "The Postal Journey" scheduled in Stintino on Saturday 29 April, Poste Italiane will activate a temporary philatelic service with a special stamp with the words "XXVIII Historical re-enactment The Postal Journey - Italian Naval League - Gulf of Asinara section ” requested by the LNI Gulf of Asinara section.
On the same day from 18 to 20.15 it will be possible to stamp correspondence presented at the Poste Italiane station set up in piazzale Guardia Costiera in Stintino with the special stamp . Any philatelic commissions can be forwarded to the Poste Italiane philatelic counter in Via Brigata Sassari.
