Another Sunday of super-work for the fire-fighting teams in Sardinia.

Sixteen fires tamed in a few hours in as many areas of the island, under the coordination of the Forestry Corps.

In two locations, the intervention of air vehicles was necessary. This is Ales, where the flames affected the area of Cungiu Floris and where a helicopter from the Fenosu base came into action in support of the men on the ground.

And of Senorbì, where - in the Luneddu area - a fire covered a hectare of agricultural and uncultivated areas, also making it necessary to have a helicopter taken off from Villasalto.
