Another day of overwork for the Sardinian firefighting teams coordinated by the Forestry Corps.

In fact, on Saturday 19 August 17 fires broke out on the island.

In four locations the fronts were particularly demanding, making it necessary to call in air vehicles to support the firefighting operations from the ground.

The helicopters went into action in Sagama , where the flames covered about 6 hectares of pasture, Teti , where 500 square meters of forest went up in smoke, in Buddusò , where the fire involved around 2,000 square meters of wooded pasture, and in Ottana, in the Talocori area.
