In Quartu the queen of Halloween among pumpkins and witches

In via Gozzi, a few steps from the center of Quartu , there is a magical house decorated for Halloween as never before. The landlady "Magical broom", born Silvia Murgia , 44, an elementary teacher profession, is suffering from this tradition that began to celebrate many years ago when practically no one did it here.

So in the first days of October he begins to decorate the house, complete with coffins on the stairs, Mexican altar, creepy old women and then in the following weeks he organizes bewitched snacks with the children of the neighborhood , and on the night of 31 he also sets the table for the dead .

And needless to say, his sober home has become the attraction of the city, where everyone stops to look and whoever wants to see is welcome. A sign displayed in the entrance gate among the bags full of candies also says it: “Dear monsters passing through, we have hung up a monstrous bag for you. If you're brave, take off the ribbon and grab one. Do not abuse and leave some for the monster that will come after you too. This is the week of fear ”. And Silvia as well as her four children welcome visitors fully disguised, sometimes as the Addams family, as witches, zombies and so on.
